Our Team
Mark and Rusty met during a website consulting engagement in 2008. After the project concluded, the two remained close friends and consulted each other’s expertise often for other projects. Rusty brings the science with business and Mark’s expertise is life science sales and marketing. That combination helps clients see the marketplace from a customer perspective.

Joseph “Rusty” Bishop, PhD has a deep understanding of Search Optimization and how scientists interact with the web.
Rusty’s expertise is his ability to apply his Scientific Experience to the Marketing and Sales Funnel online. Giving him an uncanny ability to analyze e-commerce websites and quickly find the missing elements that cause issues with scientist conversions.
From 2008-2010, Rusty guided two major redesigns of the scientific web portal ScientistSolutions.com

Mark S. Walker (Life Science Sales and Marketing)
Mark has over 20 years sales and marketing experience in the life science marketplace. Starting his career at Eli Lilly, he joined the top sales force in the industry at that time.
After Field Sales, Marketing, Market Research and Sales Management assignments, he was recruited to join a small but exciting company named Invitrogen. The goal was to launch a field sales force. Mark joined the first month that sales reached $1 million (he can’t claim credit for that!). Ten years later, Invitrogen was selling $3 million per day. As Director of Sales, Mark was one of the leaders that helped Invitrogen succeed during their rapid growth phase.
Mark returned to Indianapolis and joined a market research company to launch a life science division. He created and launched NaviGRANT, a popular online database service that enables sales and marketing to mine life science grant information. Mark employed all the virtual selling and marketing tools possible to get the word out and succeeded in securing many of the largest Life Science Tools companies in the world as clients.
He combines his experience in life science sales, sales management, and marketing with the current batch of online tools and strategies to help you attract, engage, and convert scientists.
